From my personal experience living in England for the past five years, health prevention isn't prioritised as much as I thought it would be in this Country - or as much as it could keep a hypochondriac relaxed enough. Controversial? It might be - happy to be proved wrong.
Luckily enough, I'm in a position where I can afford to keep my mind at ease by using a service such as Thriva - which in my opinion doesn't get talked about near as much as it deserves!
Thriva is a blood testing service that makes it easier for you to keep track of your health. Thanks for the support of GPs and a few of the UK's best private pathology labs.
They suggest you what package to subscribe for based on your age, gender and lifestyle. Once your results are in, you can track them from your account on their website and you can read your personalised advice from the GP that had a look at your results. Your package is customisable and you don't have any obligations to carry on having more tests - you can also delay them for as long as you'd like!
On top of the amazing service, their designs are impeccable and this brand is a perfect example of a "physical" service that did it all right. Their blueprint is amazing, taking into consideration their customer-facing website, packaging, deliveries, GPs and labs.
Take a look at their website to see what I'm talking about!
Just a few weeks ago, I received a newspaper in the post from Thriva. It made me want to write this blog, which nothing is more than a happy customer review because it's full of scientific inputs on how to improve your lifestyle. Doctors also debunk some of the health "myths" with scientific explanations. It's an evidence based newspaper - how refreshing!
I believe today more than ever we need to rely on scientific findings and the truth behind these researches. How long ago have you had a blood test? You should give it a go!
